With the US economy getting worse and worse, what does the future hold?

It seems like the economy is affecting many other countries as well, possibly prompting them to change their dealings with the US in the future? Oil prices have gotten so steep the government has cut prices in fear of a recession. This is only a couple things I’ve been hearing about. So what does the future hold for the US? Will it eventually clear up and we go back to the way we were? Or does it get worse? How bad can it get? Will it get better?

Well things have got pretty grim before, when England had a recession in the early 1990’s. The problem is as oil prices go up, people want to save so this discourages economic growth.
Good move by USA government, they’ll try and limit inflation as best they can.

Look at the past for the answer to this one. In the past, there have been recessions, yet the US usually comes through. I believe that things will get better, especially for a country that is known and respected throughout the world.

We can never be what we were. I think we’ll search for alternative fuels and pursue new ideas. Until we find our alternative fuel method things will get worst then change for the better as we become more aware of ways to preserve and respect our environment.

It’s NOT getting worse, it’s a slow period.
You people have no idea what a bad economy is yet.

Most probably it will not get worse. Reason being no one will allow that. If US goes into recession, so will other countries. When US economy goes into recession, the dollar will weaken, and when the US government cant handle, the G7 countries will come in. Example, Japan.

Being born just after the last big depression of the 20s, believe me, it can get worse. My father told be stories when I was young that people nowadays would think were fantacy. It was so bad you were lucky to get at dime back on a dollar you had in the bank. Soup lines were everywhere in the country for the hungry. No jobs to be found anywhere. The Democrats came back with Rossevelt and started to cure the land and chase the Republicans out of office that caused the “Great Depression”. Yes, history does repeat it’s self, but, I never thought I would be around to see it repeat again, “can you lend me a dime” stockbrokers with high office space should make an appointment to get a good jump out site from their Wall Street Office.

I don`t think that it is the US that is causing all this economic turmoil in all the free country’s.I don`t see where you get that the government has cut prices?If the governments of all free country’s would finely realize that they are being taken as fools.To me and this is actually the very first time i ever revealed my thoughts about this to any one.It seems that this raising the oil prices whoever it is has found a way of being a”Global Terrorist”.It brings one thought to me “Kill me quiet and softly”.Just think of it .They are accomplishing to weaken all Free Economies.It all started with 911.To me that is “Economic Terrorism”, because it creates the turmoil that they are focused on.We have entered a whole new way of War .Nobody else important seems to realize that they just follow the flow.It is not going to go get any better until they realize this.They are distracting us by having to focus more on MONEY.They have found a way better way to break everybody down.It just scares me but this is my deep feeling and i am scared.
