How are illegal immigrants good for the US economy when?

Of course they do. Whenever anybody buys a product made in China, they are sending US dollars to a communist Chinese government. Is that better?

Well i guess because many of them end up being farm workers, so the grow a lot of the foods that we eat.

We do not even enforce the laws on the books, the sanctuary cities should bee cut from federal funding…Look at the illegal killings..lately.damn its common sense..

I don’t think it makes a difference to be honest… the only benefit is cheap work, since most of the illegal immigrants do the jobs that normally people wouldn’t take..
but i understand illegals pay tax too… they don’t get social security numbers but they get a tax id, i guess that’s a smart move.

there are many illegal immigrants who do pay into the system and never file taxes… they can’t send all their money to their country, they buy food, clothes, and other things needed everyday… so I guess that’s helping the economy huh…
and when you buy your fruits and veggies at a reasonable price knowing some poor illegal immigrant probably picked that… maybe that’s helping the economy cause you have more money in your pocket to spend on american made products…
wait, maybe you don’t buy american made products… so that’s not helping our economy, now is it????
shame on you and all who don’t buy american just to save a few cents….

They’re good for the corporations that want cheap labor, and they are the ones who bribe the politicians to see that the laws aren’t enforced.

That question is still in debating among the economists.
They provide CHEAPER labor which make things you buy cheaper (especially in construction field)
They do pay taxes. At least sales tax, they may also pay income tax on their weekly check (if they provied a fake SSN # to their employer) but never got a refund because they can’t file for income tax.
But do they really help economic as a whole? I do not know….nor does most economists.

Companies love them, they remove the need for a minimum wage, health benefits, insurance..etc. This means that execs have more for themselves in all these areas.

The economy does NOT depend on illegal aliens. Sure, greedy CEOs (making $50 to $150 MILLION a year) and business owners depend on illegal aliens, the only thing illegal aliens are contributing to is the collapse of our economy and making the rich richer.

Only if it is true and in fact, you cannot prove anything you suggest. No one could in fact, because it cannot be done without using illegal documents to do so. And when that does happen, all the bets are off.
In the meantime, this is happening and needs to be dealt with immediately!!

I know what you mean…read this. The illegal immigrants will continue to corrupt America. We allow anyone to come in here, pop out babies like machine guns, (bonus check for welfare, which means more money) and allow anyone born here to become automatic U.S. citizens. Think of the U.S. as a small jar. Think of the world as a massive glass container. The marbles represent the people…as long as you try to put more and more in from the large jar (represents the entire world), to the small jar (U.S.), eventually, it will start overflowing. That is what is happening…overpopulation is HUGE right now. The rate we are going at, we won’t ever be able to build enough roads, houses, schools, hospitals, etc., the way we are growing. The economy is bashed every single year. I have no idea how much the budget is for illegals, but it has to be billions, even trillions of dollars. They come here, get free food, health care, rob from Social Security, live off of welfare. The more kids they have, the more checks they get, so why not have eight to ten kids? The financial burden is horrible…no telling how many trillions these illegals are costing us yearly. How do we stop this crisis? Well, just take the benefits away. If we didn’t have all the FREE things to offer, they wouldn’t be coming here. The education…HAVE ALL BOOKS IN ENGLISH. Don’t let the illegals get college education…take them back to Mexico if they can’t get citizenship (it’s not like it’s hard in the first place…it may be a long process, but not hard.) The unemployment rates will continue to rise because they come here, don’t work or anything, get everything for FREE, so why should they work…they just get everything handed to them in the first place. If they get paid to sit on their ***** eating burritos all day instead of working, why not? Bringing more people in to take jobs…BS! If a legal U.S. citizen needs a job bad enough, he/she will do whatever they have to do to get that extra money. I was being 100% respectful on this subject…a little too nice, even!

they are good as far as large corporations and business in general are concerned hence why you see and hear them cry so much for amensty for the illegals, for the taxpayers they are a disaster and one that must be stopped at all costs before the whole system crashes from people getting that should not get anything but the boot

Yes we do. Immigrants (both legal and illegal) have filled the void at the bottom of the US economic scale. Go to California and drive the highways. Who picks all of the food from the fields in the biggest agricultural state? Who does rubbish removal in practically every major metro area in the USA? Who built all the houses during the last ten years, as union membership has decreased to lowest levels since pre-WWII. It wasn’t common everyday American citizens. It was illegal (and some legal) immigrants.
If illegal immigrants were bad for the economy. THEY WOULD NOT BE HERE. NO ONE WOULD HIRE THEM UNLESS THEY WERE PROFITABLE…
